I have the official Hodaka Wombat manual and can't find any spec for that.

On that model I usually give it around 40-50 lb.ft. It is a nylock nut so it shouldn't come loose. Also, you want it tight enough to take up any play in the swingarm bushings without crushing them. As noted above, I have never found an "Official" spec. I use the above amount (40-50 lb.ft.) as it is similar to other bikes I have that do list specs.

I've been comfortable with "comfortably tight" - which is probably around 360 in-lbs or 30 ft-lbs. "Red-face, grunting tight" is not required or recommended.
