Does the key switch need to be in the circuit in order for the charging system to function?

The charging system flows through the 5 amp fuse which is on the red wire coming directly off the ignition switch, on its way to the battery. All electrical flow, other than spark, run through the switch. :ugeek: Victor

And the switch body is also a ground to the frame, so make sure it can.

I was just checking to see if I needed the switch, it doesn't have one on it and the owner wants to be able to street it, so will need to charge battery. Hence I need the switch.

I’ll look in the morning when I go out to the garage. I know I have some switches, just not sure if they are Ace or Toad. I’ll let you know. :ugeek: Victor

Well, I found one switch. Not sure if it functions. I may have a key for it, but not a Hodaka key. Do you want it?

I have a model 92 that had the key switch removed and a kill button installed, I don't remember how it's wired at the moment but it can be done.
