250 Ed torque setting

Hi guys,

Merry Christmas and happy new year to all.

Guys I’m wWondering if anyone would be able to tell me the Torque settings for the 4 head studs on the 250 thunder dog.

170 to 200 inch pounds I think?? -----------------Clarence

It’s also 14-16.5 foot/pounds. Just divide by 12!

More than 200 in-lbs I think. I should be in the same room as an Owners Manual some time over the weekend to check. In the meantime you might surf thru the Hodaka Parts dot com website. The torque spec may be there.

The Owner's Manual lists 200 in-lbs for the 4 cylinder head nuts and 170 in-lbs for the 4 (smaller) cylinder head bolts on the 250 ED.
