You could poke the bear by asking “which oil is best or which condenser and what location?”

I know Klots is the best oil!!! No question! LOL!!!

I’ve tried the Kawasaki F8 condenser & it works! The only thing about it is it “almost fits” in the stator. I had to drill the hole out a little larger, & use the drill bit to extend the screw hole towards the end of the mount tab, to make it line up with the screw hole on the stator. But it sure beats not having a working condenser!

So now, let’s argue 2 stroke oil!!! LOL!!! :ugeek: Victor

I use Yamaha 2S, but you can use 2R for racing motors.

FYI; Hodaka World after having been in the Motorcycle world for over 40years, and worked in the industry during that time, bottom line always try to use oils that where blended for motorcycles, transmission, engine and forks and shocks, oils, 95% of the current line of oils used are blended specifically for Motorcycle use, ether 4 stroke or 2 stroke. Oil is one thing that one must not hedge on, its sometimes a long walk back to the truck when things fail out on the trail. Bruce Young.

PS don,t jump around with oils, once you have used successfully an line of oils don,t jump ship just because it smells best, smokes less. Engines, like to operate on one brand of oil. Once it is broken in stick with that brand of oil used. Good luck and happy riding.

Bruce, good point, make sure the oil you use is motorcycle specific. Don't run down to Walmart and buy the cheapest stuff on the shelf. You get what you pay for so spend wisely.

Two oils which work GREAT individually, can cause drastic effects if one is drained & the remnants mixed with a different great oil. I am told this is due to differences in the types of additives put into the oils.

So, if you decide to change oils, what’s the best way to “rinse out” the motor so there is no cross contamination from one oil to the next? :ugeek: Buctor

Both Thrown, both. I got back from my Hodaka seller in Colorado with 5 more frames, 3.5 sets of wheels and 8 boxes/buckets of parts and a whole box of just hardware. So if anyone needs something I don’t plan to use, I’d love to work out trades or let some folks have items for not much mor than the cost of shipping. Please don’t ask me to list what I have. Instead tell me what you’re looking for. I’ll check and if I have it, I’ll send it to you. Maybe like Matt has done. Need a $20 part that I have, pay postage & make a $10 donation to the Hodaka Club! :ugeek: Victor

It got quiet again! What’s going on?

We got snow yesterday. Probably about 3-4”. But it changed from snow to rain mid day and the rain melted the snow. Then we got more snow last night. Woke up to frozen roads this morning. What’s it like out there in the rest of Hodaka Land? :ugeek: Victor
