Was this kick stand used on the "Steen Hodaka"?

It might be from a different model, but the one in my garage looks different and it is only about 8 1/2 - 9" long.

Never mind, the one in my garage is a Steen mini-bike, not a Steen Hodaka.

Not sure but most Steen kickstands should be similar as the chassis are pretty much the same outside of the motor choice. There are different wheel size combinations which would change the stand length.

How about some specs? Overall length, distance from pivot to spring pin?

Thanks for your help on this and good questions. The overall length is 13.25". The mounting hold center to top is 0.5".

Just for the Hodaka owners - that clearly is not a Hodaka side stand. It seems pretty well established that it is a Steen side stand - the question is which model of Steen. (As I understand the posts.)

I googled Steen Hodaka and pulled up the images. From all the ones that I could see the kick stand on, none looked like the stand in the top photo. It might have been a replacement from another brand that a previous owner found and put on the bike. Or, it could be original and just from a model I didn't see.

Since I bought the wrong "kick stand" for my Ace 100 model 92 (I don't own a Steen), does anyone have the dimensions for the original Model 92 kick stand?
Thanks for your help ...

The Ace kickstands for the Ace 100 B+ is 12” more or less, depending if it’s not bent at all. You can use an Ace kick stand or a Wombat 94 kick stand. They are pretty much the same length, within about half an inch. :ugeek: Victor

Since you bought it, as long you're not doing a 100 point resto, and it fits ( I assume it does) use it. The stand I have on my Steen I have to put a block under because I feel it leans too far over.

Yeah. I’ve been going thru kick stand maladies myself, with my 03 Wombat. The old kickstand broke the mount on the frame. A nice person here sent me a new mount & we welded it on.

Then the existing kickstand was a bit bent so I bought a used one which was bent in the middle and near the mount bracket. I heated it up with a propane torch. Got it nice and straight but it bent at the top.

So I tried to put the old one back on & the spring hook broke off. I ordered another from Bruce & I’m still waiting for it to come in. Went on the road this am & it may have been jammed in my mailbox.

Evidently kick stands on Hodakas can be the bane of existence! I thought about asking you for that Steen you showed and sending you one from Bruce! But, I’m out of town until Friday evening. I’ll know more when I get back home. :ugeek: Victor
