AC/DC Switch

Post by viclioce »

OK. My tail light comes on with the key with the AC/DC switch in the DC position & the tail light does not come on in the AC position. Brake light works in either position. It's been a while, but I’m assuming this is the correct scenario & I leave it in the AC Position for most situations, right? I don’t find anything in the manual about the emergency AC/DC switch...... :ugeek: Victor

Leave it in AC.

I've never been sure what the reasoning for the DC option. Maybe to use the headlight for a flashlight when looking for your cork screw in the dark?

Headlight and taillight work off the alternator.

Brake light, speedo illustration bulb and horn work (primarily) off the battery.

Least that's my experience.
