Hodaka Haps #2 - Rim Lock management
Getting the tire over the rim edge but under the rim lock can get pretty fiddly. What tricks do you use to make rim lock positioning easier during the tire mounting process?

Before installing a tire, I just loosen the rim lock & it moves away from the edge of the rim. Then mount tire & tighten rim lock back down. Pretty simple!

Don't be dumb like me. Last time I changed a tire I made a hole in the rim band and put the rim lock through like it was a valve stem. Don't know what I was thinking that moment.
