speedo cable

Trying to source a speedo cable for my 250ED here in Australia, can anyone tell me what the drive unit end of the cable is like, is it a square drive or split fork arrangement.
Or know of a compatable cable, ie-a Suzuki or Yamaha dirt bike??
I know they are available but postage from the US is horrendous so I try to source locally first.
