I have been working on my 03 for awhile. Wanting to take it to the original owner and show it to him. He was hoping to meet up at the "Desert 100 this weekend. So I loaded it up and Headed to Odessa Wa. on Thursday.
I thought I had it running pretty good and I would fine tune it on the Poker run. That didn't work out too good cause I forgot to retorque the head and it started leaking. Limped it back and spent the rest if the day tuning it.
I got up this morning and decided to enter the vintage race. I haven't ridden in 3 years and I'll say it showed
But the Wombat finished the 50 mile race with flying colors! Me, let's just say I finished and call it a win!

Way to go! Glad you figured out the head torque issues! You’ll get used to riding again. It will actually be great excercise for you too! Victor
