Fitting the piston pin or wrist pin. I just fit a new wrist pin to a NOS wombat piston. I have never in my life spent so much time getting a finger push fit, adjustable reamer, dowel with sandpaper and allot of time, what did I do wrong am I the only one? I hope Ed has a short memory ----------------- Clarence

Clarence,
No, you are not the only one! I always have to fight these and have learned to ask my machinist to tend to this when the cylinder bore is done.
I have helped assemble 2 motors this past week that were not done by my machinist and it took a lot of patience and care to get it assembled.

I, too, have had wrist pin difficulties. Sometimes they slide in easily, some times they don’t. :ugeek: Victor
