Identify Ace 90 parts

Post by bobwhitman »

Attached (I hope) are some Ace90 bits which I need help identifying. The swing arm is shorter than the normal one next to it; the carb is a17mm spigot fit, the intake manifolds are the same is as a “Normal” 20mm carb (were they designed to accept a 20mm spigot carb?), and the main shaft on left has no splines.

I’ll try to post pix now, Clarence, Max, all you Vintage Experts lemme know!

I still have my spigot and carb, I thought it was a part of go fast, the only advantage would be quicker jet changing? The main shaft was the early one, Hodaka made a big change on #233 complete front end, headlight, rear fender, taillight, and got rid of the duck bill rear mudflap, I think it was the mach //. The handle bar holder was engraved in not raised. -------------------Clarence
