What You Think Maxie?

Pulled her apart & cleaned her all up. Pilot cleaned & re-installed, added a 90 main jet (smallest I had), and cleaned the slide & needle and lubed with 2R. Even provided the rubber cap & cable adjuster.
The floats look like shiny & new, the seat & needle cleaned up and even had a new bowl gasket for her.
The only thing I didn’t have was the correct sized air screw. Anyone want to make an air screw donation, for this VM20, before I send it to Alan?

Good job Victor! That carb probably wouldn't have seen the light of day again. I've looked everywhere for that air screw and it may be here yet. Glad to be a small part of the project! Maxie

They normally came with a 95 main jet, stock. They usually came with a 90 and 100 as extras.

According to my Ace 90 manual, the VM20 for an Ace 90 came with an 85 main in place and an extra 80 & 90 main as well. This isn’t for an Ace 100.

Are you going to put that carb on an Ace 90? If so, the 90 main jet will probably be okay. If you are going to use it on a 100, best to start out with a 95 or 100 main jet and tune from there. The Ace 100's came with a 95 main jet from the factory.

As I stated, it’s going on an Ace 90.
