I know this is probably a long shot but does anyone have an air box for Super Rat 93b that they are willing to part with.
Thanks,
Bob

Sure,
I contacted Earl Burrows to see if he might know where to find one,
Earl contcacted Lee Fabry,
Lee contacted Dan Scharf who had one,
Lee emailed me with the contact information for Dan
I contacted Dan and made the deal (a very fair deal). The box will be in the mail tomorrow.
This all happened in less than 24 hours.
Gotta love it!

Thank you Dan for your help, I think that when ether a customer does not have the funds to buy new, or does not have the knowledge as to where to find such an item or even ask where can I get this, that its important that those of us in the Hodaka World that have lots of contacts and etc out there, that we take the time and effort to help like you did. It is my hope that once this person gets his Air Box, that he then takes the time to contact the Largest Supplier of Hodaka parts and pieces in the US Hodaka-parts inc in Missouri, and at least ask Terry for misc items to make this Air Box complete. We all must work together to keep the Brand Alive. Thanks again for your help. Bruce Young

Bruce,
I agree with you 100%. I have only been a Hodaka guy for about a year. Started with an Ace 100 and I currently have 5 Hodakas. A couple have gone through me where I got them going and passed them on. I found this forum quickly and joined the club. Went to Hodaka Day’s last year for the first time, it was an absolute blast. The wife and I were amazed at how friendly everyone was. We will make this an annual event now.
I found Hodaka Parts and Strickly Hodaka to be great sources for parts and advice. Now that they are one it is even easier. If Terry doesn’t have an item listed a phone call often results in getting the wanted part. I am compiling a list now for my next HPI order, I like to get to the $150 mark to take advantage of the free shipping, shouldn’t be a problem this time.
Helping each other out is a very good thing. I have had the opportunity, through this forum, to help others with needed parts a couple of times and was happy to do it as a little bit of a thank you for all the help I have received.
Thank you,
Bob
