That was cool Kelly! Where did you get the replacement bracket? Did you make it or buy it pre-made?
I’m not that good at welding yet. I bought a wire feed welder about a year ago & have to figure out how not to burn up thin metal like that.
Didn’t know about the weld drill bits either. Where do you find those? Victor

The drill bit you can get on amazon or harbor freight. The bracket, I’ll keep you posted. Greg madebit and I think he is go to make some more.

Superb video, Kelly - as always. If Greg is intending to make more brackets, please let me know. I have two early-style Super Rat air boxes recently acquired with the exact same upper mount damage minus the goopy weld job. I can handle the drilling/welding/grinding operations and could probably shade-tree the bracket itself but it would be a hack job - especially with the offset. Thanks Kelly, and again, really nice vid.
