Have an Ace 90 frame that is stamped 0044. Does that mean it was the 44th Hodaka frame to ever come off the assembly line? Also, what is the worth of a frame that is free of cracks/bends (roughly)? Thanks.

That there is the 44th Ace 90 off the line. Cool. People will pay a premium for super low number frames. I recently bought an Ace 90 frame for $35. You might get 10x that for a low number frame. Nice.

Yes, Dan that was the 44th bike of the line. Good find, price is in the eyes of the beholder. If it is still avail at Hodaka days might want to make a bid. Would give $50.00 for it. There are several little diff and changes in that frame that can be seen, in the pictures, most previlant is the wiring loom lope welded to the frame in the front of the triple clamp tube. There are other little diff as well. I know of the following low numbers out there and I am sure there are others; #1, #14, #24,
#91, & #82, mine is #74 and its green like it was a attempt to sell some to the forestery dept.
All these early units where produced prior to #200 coming off the line. The engines also have diff case,s heads and side cases as well, swing arms where also diff, and other little things, before we see what we see when we look at a latter ACE90. Bruce
