I've recently came in to some main jets the question is if one will screw in to the carb and is the right orfice does it matter that it's not the same shape. Like a screw in or hex. Longer or shorter

You will probably have to contact Mikuni (or a distributer such as SUDCO) to find out if and which ones will work. Being different shapes, even if the numbers were the same the flow rates could be different. Best to check with the source.
