Hodaka Racks fit???????

So the question is - Will any Hodaka rack fit the frame of an 01 Dirt Squirt - which I understand is basically a Wombat Frame - or do I need a wombat or road toad rack????

This is not a definitive answer, but I don't think the earlier ACE era racks will fit on a painted tank Dirt Squirt. Likewise, I have my doubts about the rack for a toaster tank Wombat. But I'm sure that at Road Toad rack will fit the Model 01 Dirt Squirt.

Thanks. Any Idea what the difference is between the rear of Toaster Tank Wombat Frames and the painted tank Squirt frame? Maybe the 01 frames were a "later??" Wombat frame? Or was it a matter of the process of design starting with the Wombat Frame and redesigning to fit the 01/02 concept???? Just curious.

Mounting tabs are slightly different. You’ll need the Road Toad (02) rack, if memory serves.

Thanks The Toad it is. I was hoping the wombat was close enough to maybe elongate or redrill some of the holes to fit rather then cut & weld.
