I ran some numbers and let me know what all of you think. A total of 2,800 Model 93 Super Rats were manufactured in 1969. In 1970, 1,950. Engine Starting for 1969 is M1001. Add 2,800+ 1950+ 1001 and you get 5,751. 93A Starting Engine # is M5750. It looks like 1969 Model 93 Ends at M3800, 1970 Model 93 Starts at M3801 and we know 1971 Starts at M5750 so the Math seems to work. Joe Ormonde.

Great detective work, I have had to something similar for the early ACE 90,s and 100,s , collecting eng and frame numbers and talking to owners of the bikes and doing what you did, good job.

I am almost positive that this info or something, very close exists somewhere, in papers that came out when the company closed down. As Clarence says there was an ACE 100A but it is argued that it did not exist, but there is written proof of such a machine. We may never know. Bruce Young

I just hate to see anyone spend a ton of money on an Engine and it be off by 2 Years. Some Models are simple to figure out, others are not. The math that I did for the Model 93 may be correct BUT I would NOT chisel it in stone just yet! I would however use it for myself. Thanks to all!!! Joe Ormonde.

The Model 93 Engine Started with M1001. So I added 1001. A little tricky to see it at first. 2,800 Super Rats Built in 1969 BUT the Engine started at#1001. If they had started with M0000, 1969 Engine Code would end at M2800 because they Manufactured 2,800 Super Rats that year. Just a little tricky! Joe Ormonde.
