Max has ran out of excuses. My wife and a very good friend have plotted and overcome any excuses I could come up with. My first excuse concerning driving from Kansas. I punched in the robot while my wife was driving." Athena, driving time: Three days and two minutes, go 100 yards and turn left." I'm not making this up. Ok, that's out. How about flying? Hmm, $1300 round trip for two plus a car rental and still some hours to drive. A fair excuse. Let me think on it. Today they put the clincher on me. My friend has extra flying miles. I can fly out locally free and He and his wife will pick us up in Oregon and transport us to the site. Now we're talking. He may ride the Black Rock thing and is bringing two bikes. Max is healed from a knee replacement but is restricted from motorcycle racing for a while and won't be participating in anything too wild. I'm out of excuses and unless there's a Great Meteor strike, Eweleen and I will see you there!

Great to here you will be there Max .Always enjoy your contributions to this forum and hope to bump in to you somewhere in Athena . (My place to Athena 7854 miles) but certain that there are people who have traveled further to get there!
