Retrieving your Photobucket Photos

If you've been on the internet posting photos on forums and using Photobucket for your hosting service, you are most likely aware they are now charging you about $400 a year for the privilege of embedding YOUR photos on a forum or other website. If you don't pay, and your readers don't have one of the extensions for Chrome or Firefox, then all they get to see is:

So assume you want to go to a new hosting service (there are several free and reasonable paid options) and want to move the photos you have? If you are like me you have several thousand in the cloud. What to do. PHotobucket removed their "download album" link, so . . .

Well, a quick search for Chrome Extensions found a neat one here: https://sharecoding.wordpress.com/photo ... ownloader/

You can also go to the Chrome store and search for photobucket and get it that way. chrome.google.com/webstore/search/photobucket?hl=en-US

This adds a neat download link on the album page, which you click, and it downloads all of the photos in the album in 100 photo zip files! Automatically! It does cost $1.99, but in my book it is way worth it!

One note, if you have more than 100 photos in an album, it will pop up a download window each time it has one ready to go.
