"O Sweetness"

Here is a pic of the tank that had a big dent on one side and several smaller dents. Daniel Gromm at Dent Dynamics removed all the dents, not even any evidence of there being dents now. Then Salt Lake Chrome in Utah rechromed the tank and a few other parts for me. $175.00 for rechroming the tank. They do a great job and very reasonable. Don't send him a tank that is rusted through. He will not be able to do it if its that badly rusted. That tank has not one speck of rust inside either. The tank came from Utah which is one of the driest areas of the country, that could have contributed to not having rust. Plus the fact that it had no gas put in it and left for the past 50 years. Anyway my resto project is coming along. " O sweetness!"

Yeap, I'll second that vote for Kevin at Salt Lake Chrome. The last Tank I took down I had to use silver solder to fill a couple small dents. When I picked it up, He told me that one of his workers thought he could do a better job and removed the solder and the dents before re-chroming. Did not charge me for the extra work and the tank came out equally as beautiful.
