I had a model 93 super rat tank that had not a spec of rust in it or on it. It had a heck of a big dent on one side and some smaller dents here and there. I sent it to a gentleman in Santa Rosa, California that has a business of paintless dent removal for motorcycle tanks. His name is Daniel Gromm. His website is MotoPDR. He removed all the dents and you cannot even tell it was dented. Even the big one. Amazing work.
It was not cheap, about $300.00 he charged me, but man what a beautifull tank I have now. Its at Salt Lake Chrome getting a rechroming job at the moment. Cant wait to get it back. I will post a pic of it when I do.

A pristine, cherry tank is a sight to behold. I have a paintless dent puller, it is a bridge with two large rubber pads, and a pull-screw that you hot-melt glue temporarily to the tank. Seems to.do a decent job of making dents less-noticeable. Google "pops a dent" for info. I have two tanks: my daily rider tank with a couple of minimized dents and a dentless pristine tank "for show". Both tanks were relined by the DPO so I don't know what surprises lie under the liner.

I've always seen it as "Dreaded Previous Owner" . . . but there's not much actual difference there.

The videos on the site show amazing results! Makes me wonder if they provide training with the purchase of their tools as an option? Would be a great business!!!

Yes I think it would be a good business. I will make me some tools when I get a chance and see if I can do some good myself. I have been so busy with my restore projects I just sent them to him to try and get ahead.
