head light dimmer switch

Finally was able to mount my new headlight dimmer, horn, turn signal switch for the 250 SL I bought on Ebay.
The delay was making sure I had the information to wire it. The color codes for the new switch didn't match to original. Using the info that came with the switch and the 250 SL schematic, I was able to make a wiring cross reference chart. Spliced in the new wiring using Bell Telephone splice and solder with heat shrink tubing, the project went smooth. The only mistake was the high/low on the dimmer. I miss-read the schematic. But it works even though it is backwards.
