tire sizes

Can any one help me with determining the correct metric conversions for 3.50x18 and 3.00x21 inch knobby tires? I am building a 98 super rat and would like to get the best size for my project.

Good luck finding a 350x18 knbobby. 100/100-18 is the size but even they differ from brand to brand.

I bought a couple of 350x18 knobby at a swap meet in great condition, I also see them occasionally on Craigs List.

Wouldn't a 3.50X18 be more like 80/100X18 or 85/100X18? 100/100X18 is a 4.00X18 in my book.
