IK. So remember the 250 SL I talked about a guy in Cali selling? Well he didn't sell it. And he's moving from Cali to Ohio. He was down to asking $200 for it a while back and I told him if he could bring it to me on his way to Ohio I'd give him $300 for it.
Well he contacted me on Facebook and said if he can fit it on the truck, he will bring it to me on his way to Ohio! Said he's leaving Orange County on June 3rd! Wow! Keep your fingers crossed for me! The bike looks pretty darned complete!!! Well worth $300 I think!!! Looks like I may actually get a Hodaka just for me and a 250 to boot!!! Victor
Well, it's not a deal until/unless he shows up with it. If he can't fit it on the truck, he will leave it in California, I assume at his mom & dad's house where he was living. Wish me luck! Victor
I was looking at Facebook and on the Vintage Honda page, I seen that the owner of that 250sl was jerking someone around about a cr80 he was selling. There's always two sides to the story but I would be cautious with that Andrew Costin character.

Well, I can always turn him down. He was asking $600 originally. Last post he made about it he was down to asking $200 for it. Then he offered parting it out, and had a buyer for parts but that fell through. So if he brings it along on his way, and is still willing to take my offer to buy it, as long as I get to see it first, I'll consider his offer. Then again, he may not be able to load the bike & it will lol be a moot discussion. ; D Victor
