Ace 100B+ mud apron

I've looked at photos and tried to sort this out but for clarification can someone tell me how the mud apron fits on my B+ please?
Does the red side go toward the engine or the rear wheel? And where does the clip go?
I have one in reasonable condition but it wasn't on the bike when I got it, just in one of the boxes of goodies. I don't have a clip but in the parts book it looks like just a piece of metal that crimps on something?

The red side goes towards the motor. The clip, I believe, goes on the left front bottom of the fender, but I didn't have a clip. I've been trying to upload a photo but it hasn't been cooperating! ; D Victor

Thanks Victor. That helps a lot. I'll play with it tomorrow night. I searched this forum and google but couldn't find a photo that clearly showed the apron in place.

1963 title says that, Engine # PO262 frame #AO259 Apron Found on Ebay after searching longtime.

Title says 63, checked thr engine # and frame points to 63. real low Engine and frame #, I want you to take a good look at that engine
different looks than other 90's i have looked at. Did I read your going to get to my 125 wombat engine or was that a dream.

Hodaka 90 ,100 use the same apron you can get it from Hodaka-parts.com part #939515 for $31.46 new

My old one is fine for now. Too many other expenses on the 2 Toads yet to replace something just for pretties! Maybe if I take my B+ to a show??? Victor
