Me too! Happy New Year to all you folks in Hodaka Land! I hope 2017 proves to be a joyous & successful year for all!
As for me, I have a line on a Roswell Barn find! It's a COMPLETE 1976 Model 03 Wombat!!! A friend there has a friend who found one in a barn. It looks good but I don't know how long it's been since it was started or if it's capable of running, but I'll find out soon! Attached is a photo of the find. Keep your fingers crossed for me because I don't know if I'll get the opportunity to buy it or not!
Happy New Year to all and good luck with all your projects! ; D Victor

Spoke with the guy who got it today. He is considering it. He told me he raced when he was younger and remembers the Hodakas beating him all the time! He's been a MC mechanic for over 30 years and can't decide whether to keep it or sell it. Says if he keeps it he will fix it to run and ride it for me awhile and then hang it on a wall!
But he says he may sell it to me because he has a lot of other project irons on the fire. The only thing we didn't talk about was price. I did refer him here, especially if he decides to keep it but I hope he sells it to me! The New Year will tell! ; D Victor

Opinions may vary, but the fork brace is completely unecessary with the 34mm forks on a the Wombat 03. And boy the 34s work really well! Hope you get a shot at the bike Victor. (. . . and Happy New Year!)

I'm dreaming of a set of 03 forks for my CW. Rare as hen's teeth.

Roddy Boy he's contemplating keeping it. He said he got beaten by so many Hodakas when he was younger he has always wanted one. But he says he may still sell it because he has so many irons in the fire. Just don't know yet, and don't know what he paid for it & will want for it if he sells it. Time will tell. ; D Victor
