Hub vs Drum

OK - this is for all those folks who know Hodaka wheels and hubs, drums.
I'm working over a 75 Dirt Squirt. I picked up a set of Road Toad rims and hubs 18"R/21"F. They are fairly decent but I did find quite a bit of chrome bubbling on the rims. When I got them it wasn't an issue and they are certainly usable and I'm going to run them. Now a couple of years later I'm back on the project and it has changed up to getting a really good Lee Fabry paint job on the tank & Tins. So once again doing some long range planning I decided to compare the hubs part numbers between the 01 Squirt and the 02 Toad to see if they are matching with the idea of pulling the hubs off the 14"rims, getting some new or really good 18'/21" rims and getting the hubs and rims painted to match the tank. Then using them for "show" so to speak and running the old rims and a beater tank when I'm poking around to keep the good stuff from getting crunched.

Here is what I can't quite figure out. Both the front and rear part numbers match between the Squirt and the Toad but the parts diagram shows a "Hub"and a "Drum" with part numbers for each and a different number between the "Hub" and the "Drum". The Hub also has a 37/60 for the rear on the Squirt and a 39/62 for the Toad for the rear. The front Hubs also have a 8/22 for the Squirt and a 8/23 for the Toad.

What is the difference between the Hub & Drum and what do the 37/60 etc numbers mean on the Hub? :?:

Thanks.

Looks like the drum is the drum only. The hub is a hub assembly which includes item numbers 37 through 60.

Well that seems reasonable. Looking at it that way I wonder why they didn't include #23,24 & 25 the brake cam lever pin & washer, clip since the brake cam lever was included must've been a cost cutting measure. Certainly makes more sense the I could come up with!

Thanks
