Just wanted to share a couple pictures of my garage find Hodaka Dirt Squirt that I took delivery on today. It is a 7/73 model and appears to be
unmolested and in original condition. The only change is the Webco cylinder head and compression release but I do have the stock cylinder head
in addition to a box of misc. parts.

socal, that might be a possibility. I doubt that I would be racing at my age but you never know. The show would be more my speed. Any more info or website on this?

I have a buddy that has 3 Hodaka's and lives close by and he also races in the vintage MX races and he might be interested also.

Today my Dirt Squirt came to life for what I would estimate at least 10 years of sitting. I have never seen a foam air filter that just disintegrated at the slightest touch along with several key rubber parts associated with it. The intake boot and the air cleaner seal also fell to old age so they are on my Christmas list. There was a K&N filter in the box of parts so at least I have something I can use for now. Once I got all the oil out of the carb it fired right up and after some adjustments I was off for some hot laps around the old neighborhood. The clutch is loosening up with fresh oil so things are looking up. I am no light weight but it hauled my butt around quite nicely. Now I will be able to keep up the grand daughters on their bikes and quads. I am looking forward to getting this bike out on the trails soon.

In my youth I raced motorcycles and tore my knee up years later when I was raising a family. Livelihood took priority and the dirt bike sat and was eventually found a new home. I was introduced to rail type dune buggy and decided I couldn't fall off of it so that has been my off road vehicle for the last 25 plus years. I still love it but I have granddaughters ranging from almost 6 to almost 14 that all ride quads or dirt bikes so the logical thing was to get a dirt bike. This came up so I jumped on it (so to speak) and added it to my toy collection. The girls love the buggy ..Go faster grandpa!! Hopefully I can keep up with them on the Squirt..
Time will tell..
