Chrome tank compatibility across models

I'm wondering if a small filler neck fuel tank (possibly Ace 90/100 --to be determined) will bolt straight onto a Wombat.

Owing to Hodaka's design philosophy one might think so. However, I already checked the Part Compatibility spread sheet and it doesn't indicate that any tanks work across different model Hodakas. Any voices of experience out there? Thanks!

I have a 94 Wombat with a small filler neck tank on it. It fits just fine.

I have the opposite of Dale! A big filler neck with a white cap on an Ace which normally takes a small filler neck with a red cap. ; D Victor

Any Hodie chrome tank will fit on any Hodie which came with a chrome tank. It might not be the "right" tank, but it will bolt right on.
