Ozark Vintage Motorcycle Assn. Show 2014

Well I'm between projects and was going through the photo files today and found a few shots from a mini-adventure from 2014. The Ozark Vintage Motorcycle Assn. show was only two hours away from Parsons, Kansas and Eweleen and I loaded up the just completed Yamaha XS-650 project and headed South to Arkansas. An old friend and racer from Oklahoma met us for the event. He was also the donor of the XS-650 who after decades of procrastination gave it to me for my 70th Birthday. Long story.
It was a fun day, even though I didn't win, and the viewing selection was great. The Main class was for original unrestored "Survivors" which was won by a Hodaka Ace 90 to the chagrin of all the other fine specimens (Vincents and such). He had a vocal cheering section from our Hodakaphile gang which the owner appreciated when trophy time came. Hodaka Rules! The Yamaha at least got some compliments but lacked a good class to enter since it was not original.
Here's a few shots from the event including my friend and XS donor who probably now wishes he had it back!
Enjoy,
Max
