Maybe it's a pixel dimension issue? I sized up a photo, limiting the pixel dimension to 90 - seemed to work

Laurie, I make it 90 x90 and here is what I get.

The avatar’s filesize must be between 0 and 6 KiB.

Current image:
Maximum dimensions; width: 90 pixels, height: 90 pixels, file size: 6.00 KiB.

Kelly,
For my Avatar I used the Microsoft Office Picture Manager (my editor of choice) and kept resizing it down to 73 x 73 pixels and it turned out to be 5.9 Kb.

File type might be important? The photo I've used previously is 90X90 and 32KB as a jpg but only 5.25KB as a gif (still 90X90 pixels

OK folks just back from Canada- Sorry we missed you Brian.
We stole 36 hours from our days to spend time with a great new friend. Geoff Ballard had never been to Canada and we are only 3 hours from Montreal. The dang customs officer saw my HODAKA license plate and made a Bultaco comment. He (U.S. customs officer) mentioned he was going riding tonight. We started talking about old bikes and I mentioned "do you know of Geoff Ballard?" He said yes of course I said well he is in the back seat. I embarrassed Geoff but it was fun.
We felt like we played hooky from school but as busy as we have been it was a well deserved break.
I will work on it tomorrow. Everything may take a week or less to get straightened out but we will succeed !! I need to know what works and what does not for folks so we can fix it. We all have spent a huge amount of time building this new site and trying this and trying that but until it goes live we cannot forecast everything that might need to be tweaked. So please keep posting on what is not right or let me know via email
Thanks
Paul
