So I went out and got a quote for re chroming the tank on my Ace 100 holy cow. It came in at $550.00 to chrome it and take out a couple dings. There is no one local to me that does it that I can find. Does anyone have a vendor they have good luck with I could get a quote from? Thanks for the help!

Here is the quote
"Thanks. The cost to repair the dents and repair the tank is approx. $550 + shipping. Please note, when we strip and plate a tank, it does immediately rust inside and will need to be cleaned and coated after chrome plating. Please let us know if you have any questions."

If this is what it cost I guess it will have to wait.

Here is another quote. 550 isn't looking so bad now

"The last one of those tanks we did was 750.00, it mostly depends on condition and the amount of prep work it takes, thanks Bill."
