I am actually doing the same thing right now with my 1977 250SL. Adding a Powerdynamo ignition, performance pipe,38mm flat slide carb and having Starting Line who makes our HT pipes do the porting. Should be a fun bike for the gravel roads of Vermont.Roger Lippiatt is doing the engine for me too.
RaceTech doing the fork modifications and sourcing some better rear shocks.

Normally any time but right now I'm off to the machine shop to get a 250 bored for another customer , I just completed a reed conversion and complete porting on. Then Gotta go to to the chiropractor and to the dentist for warranty work. You can call this evening if you want or send me your number by text and I will call when I get done .

I have heard good things about Roger Lippiatt.. He seems to know these engines as good as anybody
