Put a join request in, but nought happening with it?

Is this the "Strictly Hodaka" FB page or the "Hodaka Fan Club" group? I was already on the SH page and just joined that Group. The SH page slipped my mind...

I also sent Victor a friend request.

Having said that my project build thread has helped heaps already...thanks to those that have answered.

I don't know the secret to joining the Hodaka Fan Club page. I also have not had success joining it and have tried several times over a years time.

The request to join the FB group should have went to the moderator of the group, so they can say yes or they can reject or block you. I don't know who that is for shore. I guess all you can do is hope they see it and except the request.

The SH Facebook page is related to Paul and his SH website and this forum ("chat group"). Completely different than the "Hodaka Fan Club" on Facebook. You'll need to contact the owner/moderator of that group from facebook, there is no connection betw SH and that group, AFAIK. I've got a pending join request in to the Fan Club.

This report just in from the geezer domain . . . ? there's a "Fan Club"?

Yes there is. There is an overlay of the folks on this forum but quite a few different names as well. I am not sure who the moderator is.

Yes, you are correct. The Fan Club is a closed group and is completely separate from this forum and the SH Facebook page.

When the Admins don't respond timely: (there IS life outside Facebook... )

If you are Facebook friends with anyone who is a member of the Hodaka Fan Club group on Facebook, they can add you to the group. Or if you have someone's email address, members can add them with an invitation.

I am not a regular Facebook user and that is part of my issue I guess. I only use it to get information on upcoming vintage motorcycle events but I would like to be part of the Hodaka Fan Club group. I will look for your invite the next time I log into my Yahoo account.

Bill I saw your request and added you! Any member can add another person requesting. It does not require a moderator. ; D Victor

Anyone can go to the group, assuming you already have a Facebook Acct, and submit a request to join. I added Zeek once I knew his FB name and I also added Bill because he made a request to join! ; D Victor
