ANF annual trial ride

The ECHJYA Allegheny National Forest trail ride is only a few months away. The date this year is September 10th at the Allegheny National Forest near Marienville Pa. If you put this on your schedule now, you will be in line for a most pleasant experience this early fall on some of the coolest trails around. It is not a difficult ride. No creek crossings. The trails are used in the winter by snowmobiles, so they have bridges.
You do not need a Hodaka to ride. The cost is $10 to register the bike. It does not need to be street legal. Just an ID and a VIN number are required. Check the website at the bottom for any other restrictions.
For the first time, the “East Coast Hodaka Junk Yard Association” will be awarding the most coveted 2015 Dipstick Rider of the Year award. This will take place during the Allegheny National Forest Saturday evening dinner. This award will go to the rider, who in the past year has shown exceptional riding skill (at least from his or her own testimony), humility, sportsmanship and dedication to the Hodaka brand.
This person will probably have their entire home filled with trophies and plaques, so we decided to give a most practical award. He or she will be able to choose one of the two dipsticks for the smaller Hodakas or for the "dipstick-less 175 and 250 owners", the blank plug.
For those arriving,
The closest motel is the Monroe Heights Hotel in Marienville. Nice place. Formally this was a Microtel. Phone: 1-814-927-8300
