Fuel flow rates

Post by Bill2001 »

Wombat 94 chrome tank, new potmetal petcock, will flow 1000 mL in 15 minutes per side. Each tank "saddle half" has a capacity of 2000 mL, which should give a guesstimate of the reserve fuel mileage.

For your FWIW file, and of course YMMV.

My potmetal taps on my Wombat flow sufficient fuel to allow Captain Eddie to throw roost, over a jump, uphill, and probably against a headwind, on my Wombat with just one out of two taps open. I shudder to think what he'd do if I opened both taps.
