OK. I need to splice in a new fuse holder between the ignition switch and the battery. I only have half the old fuse holder. What amp fuse should it be? I'll need to add additional wire and a bullet connector as well, but I can't read the amp rating of the fuse as its worn. You can see it hanging just below the ignition switch in the photo. Thanks in advance! ; D Victor

The 100B Owners Manual lists the fuse as being 5 amp. I'm virtually positive that did not change when moving to the B+ model.

OK! I shot in square format with the button at the bottom of the phone. I'll keep shooting things square! I think it may have something to do with my being left handed. I think I rotate backwards of the way righties would rotate and the web software sees it as upside down.

Thanks for the 5 amp info. I am going to install a mini blade fuse holder so it takes less room. Also no glass fuses and easy to carry spares. Thanks again for the useful knowledge! ; D Victor

I got a water resistant, capped ATM (mini) blade fuse holder soldered into place and shrink wrapped. Almost ready to order my battery! Need a few more things and I should be done, even working slowly and part time, in the next 2 weeks or so! I'm on pins and needles now! ; D Victor

I think I made my last order for this bike, or near last! Still need things like grips and a mirror but I can get those without issue. Only a few wire connections left to figure out, so I may be posting a pic or two for advice if I don't get it figured. I'm studying the shop manual now, and reading the wiring diagram. A used rear fender should arrive tomorrow and I can use the Barkeepers Helper on it to get it shiney again! Then mount the fender, put on the tail light, drop the rear wheel back off and see if I can mount the fender. Looks like I should reverse the top and bottom shock bolts. The top ones look longer than the bottom, and I can add a nit and washer to it to hold the rear mount point. I'm pretty sure that's how it will go. Then buy a couple of fender mud flaps to attach, hook up the new battery and put it in the new pad and bolt on the wiring connector cover, which are coming from Paul. Also need to reinstall the brake switches and connect. Then add oil to the crank case and premix to the tank. Tomorrow I will do the compression test to be sure it's tight and if it reads OK, now that it's in the frame and can be turned over more easily. Then I will give her some start up tries.

One last big question. The timing marks on the inner left case seem to be worn down and you can't see them at all. Don't know why. But is there a way to measure where they go? I can add new marks by using a triangle file and notching the left inner case, but I need to know where to put them accurately and where they go. I have a spare bottom end and I can measure from that case. Just want to know where to measure the marks from what starting point. Any suggestions??? Thanks! ; D Victor

I say use a dial indicator to locate Top Dead Center for the left mark and then .114" BTDC for the right most mark.
