Super Rat (98) petcock help

In a petcock, how many seals are there? Also, what are the seals made of? Today I took out my Super Rat gas tank that has been sitting on a shelf since 1981. I took the petcocks apart and one side had two seals of some sort and the other side's seal or seals were totally deteriorated to dust. So, I don't know if there should be one or two seals in each petcock and what are these seals made of (they seem to be flexible). I appreciate any help. Linc

Linc, the link above is the gasket between the petcock and the tank. Is that what you are looking for? (You mentioned taking it apart.)
