Shock length for VanTech Forks

Slowly making progress on the race bike redo. The VanTech forks that I purchased , came with 14" Girling shocks. I have heard that they should be 13". Anyone know what they came with originally ? The painting is mostly complete , about to start reassembly

KC, it might be possible to compare distances from this photo by comparing known distances. They are probably fully extended in this picture. Should work, and somehow I can't remember everything from 50 years ago! You are bringing back old memories about what a great set of forks they are. Hope this helps.

PS--I would measure from the pivot bolt the top shock bolt and extrapolate.--- OK, I did measure the front wheel in the picture and a 21'' in the shop and through comparison the shocks do appear to be 13''. Actually 12.92064'' plus or minus a teeny bit.
