Preston Petty fenders

I rarely use this forum to promote something we are doing but this one is special. When in your life do you get the chance to work hand in hand with Harry Taylor from Hodaka and Preston Petty? I know I am a really lucky #$%^&* at least that is what Kenny say's.
A majority of my professional time and energy has gone into trying to rebuild part of the Preston Petty line of products. What started as a thought in 2003 has taken this long to allow me the time and energy to focus on this new venture. Having the ability to just pick up the phone and call Preston to ask advise or questions about different materials etc and have him answer the phone and questions is numbing.
I have been extremely lucking in life I know to have met some of the greats in this industry like Jimmy, Harry,Tommy, Brad, Jack, John etc.. but not taking anything away from anyone working on projects with Preston life does not get to much better. After over a year in the works our Preston Petty MX Front fenders started production in Long Beach California this past Monday. Preston offered to be my guy on the ground to oversee production. This way I did not have to fly out to California myself.
Here is a YouTube video produced the other day while Preston was at Medway plastics signing some fenders for some museum exhibits and for a few of his friends in the industry.
The two major things that Preston insisted upon were "quality MUST be #1" and the fenders must pass the "Preston Test"
We are working on many new items some Preston made and some he did not. But whatever we do or we make he is involved all the way.
Life is good!
