If this has already been done let me know. But where is everyone from?

From time to time, someone asks everyone to identify their location. Doing so is not a requirement of the forum, and I think for good reason. It is becoming easier with time to discover information about people on the Internet. Some of us have no problem with saying where we are from, others do have a problem. Similarly, it isn't required to give our names publicly just to participate. Some will use their first names, some use initials and so on. Sooner or later we figure out roughly where most folks are from just by reading what is posted. This is a public forum in that anyone anywhere can read it, and so perhaps it isn't a bad idea to be careful about personal stuff. Look at the problems with Facebook.
It doesn't hurt to ask, as you did, but I assume that if those who don't identify in their user data where they are located had wanted to do so, they would have done it when they created their identity. By which I mean, don't be hurt if no one seems to do it who hasn't already done so. If the need arises to know where someone is, they will usually answer the question. But as an item of passing interest, the less put out in the public view the better.
I am from Prescott, AZ. But not too many know where specifically. Ten years ago, I would not have even made that much public, but I am no longer a Fed with a sensitive job.

This is only showing up on this thread and will soon disappear. It would be better if each of us would add our location to the "Signature" of our "Profile" (or any other thing you want everyone to see on each post).
While properly logged in just click on "User Control Panel" along the top bar, then click on "Profile", then "Edit Signature" and add your stuff there. There are a lot of other options that you may want to research while your are in there.
