I though I would introduce my self quick. My name is Patrick, and I just bought a '75 Road Toad. I say that I bought a Road Toad...I should really say I bought most of one. It rolls, it does not look too bad, motor turns, not sure if it runs, I have not found too much missing yet. I'm exited...my wife thinks I'm nuts.

Welcome Patrick,

Yes, we are a group that understands that our spouses think we are nuts. It comes with the affliction to enjoying the Hodaka experiance.
This too will pass. Just remember you are not alone in this condition. Some of us, myself included, started with one Hodaka and have had them multiply to several. We have a gathering every June in the Motherland of the Hodaka. It is called Hodaka Days. The pilgrimage to Athena Oregon will introduce you to others that suffer from this condition known as Hodakaphilia.
You will find this support group a wealth on knowledge and sources for reconditioning your Road Toad back to life.
Again, welcome.

Welcome Patrick, It looks like a fun project coming up. When my wife saw how much fun I had during the last restoration she has been very supportive of us crazy people. Have fun!

Wow...3 replies and I already feel like I'm in an AA group that really does not want to quit. Like we know we have a problem, but we like it.

We also have a Hodaka Club and a website: http://www.hodakaclub.org. Check it out and maybe become a member as members have access to parts of the site that others don't....like back copies of a quarterly newsletter with a lot of tech tips and stories from other members.

I just happen to be the Membership Coordinator so I had to get that plug in.
