Hey Gang, I need a pair of petals like this. Are they Hodaka items or what?

Thanks!

Doesn't look like factory Hodaka or GEM. I think I remember an after market DH ????? reed assembly. Either way I will take some measurements on some Hodaka reeds I have. Might be able to make them fit.

Not really worth the effort to find them , double carbon fiber reeds work much better , I cut the divider out of the cage too, but even if you dont they still work better , more reed tip area as well as more reactive action.

Um, not to mention that the black reeds were too stiff to work well back in the day. The translucent green or yellowish reeds were better for most uses.

Can't remember if those were Gem or DH . . . but I remember 'em.

Here' the assembly, It has no markings like GEMs do. I ordered it through my Hodaka distributor about the time the 93 arrived. (As I recall) ;)

Hey Gang, I'm still looking for these for the Day One project.

Thanks!

Max

Rich, can you tell me more about the carbon one piece.

Max

The pedals I have will work best with cutting out the bridge in the cage but even without doing that performance is still improved because of increased reed tip area and the nature of the carbon fiber. I think I even have the rounded pedals still , Give me a call if you want 702-858-9177

Max,
If you look at the "tired combat wombat" post, I have a pic of Rich's one piece reed petal and the modified reed cage. It is toward the end of the thread.
