Hodaka Days 2015

Post by admin »

Well it was very hard emotionally not being in Athena this past weekend for Hodaka Days. This was the first time in 16 years I was home for Fathers Day and home in June.
As hard as it was not being there in person I was kept up to date via Facebook and emails from the event. I would like to personally thank everyone that was involved in any way to make this great event happen!! The Hodaka Days event has been going on officially for sixteen years now and seems just to get better and better. It takes a ton of people and a huge amount of work to put the event on each year. It would be great to have some new volunteers to help with next years event please.

I would like to thank all the folks that gave of their time to travel to Athena for Hodaka Days! Our lives are all busy with family commitments, work and just life in general. For folks to take time out of their busy lives to be together and celebrate a brand is nothing less than fantastic!! Thank you all.

I cannot let this post go without thanking all the volunteers who tirelessly give of themselves to make this event a reality. All the time every year.
It takes a great great team to work together and plan for this weekend in June. Then to make it happen- WOW !!!!!
I do not want to leave anyone out so I am not going to mention names but to all of you thank you so so much for keeping the flame lit!

It would be impossible for this event to continue without the hard work and sacrifice of Gregg Floren. The man takes vacation week(s) so this event will go off without a hitch. Gregg you and I both know that Harry is looking down and smiling saying "good job kid" !
I would also be remiss if I did not mention and thank Bob Whitman for all of his hard work and support to Gregg. Bob is as deep in the trenches as Gregg is and without Bob this event would most likely fall short.
I am very grateful to everyone involved to make this dream still come true!!
Sincerely
Paul
