Im running the Dual Sport Cheng Shin C858 350-18 This is a good all around tire for everything I will take this bike on. Plenty of room.

Thank you , do you think the 4.00 same tire would fit ? it would be I'm guessing 1/4" wider on each side ! ?

Is it my imagination or do the grips match the tires?

Taz-
Most of us have found that "bigger is not better" when dealing w/tires for these 100s and 125s. The 125s pretty much max out on 3:50s (tho some 400s are no wider) and a tire that can be spun on occasion is usually more effective than a tire which the bike really can't ever break loose. Besides, the bigger tires usually eliminate the possibility of using a (needed) chain guard.

Um, what Bob said.

Please retain your chain guard. The chain serves as an excellent conveyor system to deliver all kinds of nasties to the countershaft sprocket if you remove the chain guard.

. . . and bigger is not necessarily better for small bore rear tires. I know that sounds un-American . . . but it is true.

Thanks Bob ,first off I have no intentions of removing the chain guard or anything else off the bike ! LOL All what you say makes real good sense I I will have to find a tire shop here that has the Kenda K 270 and see if there is much differences in sizes .. Thanks again ... :D :D

Just remember that 3.50 doesn't mean 3 1/2 inches wide. It will only be in the neighborhood.
