History question

I was rummaging around in an old box of Hodaka literature and stuff and found a cashe of decals. My question is....Who or what is "PQ"? There were several decals referencing "PQ". Ed, maybe you can shed some light. I didn't realize there were so many decals and such available. I even ran across an old double-sided Pabatco sales poster offering new products, some of which featured the likeness of our dear ol' Ed.
If I could find the cord that goes to my camera I would post some pics. I think my 8 month old Australian Shepherd Hank may have absconded with it......

I'll ask my four Aussies if they have seen your cable.
BTW, Tuffy missed winning over all high in trial this past weekend by one point. A very good weekend. Beat all my trainers dogs, and quite a few others that are routinely in the top 30 internationally. In his stride at 7 years old.

According to the new Hodaka book, Marv Foster recalls PQ as pure quill, which means something is genuine or of high quality. Also could say that PQ referred to Pabatco Quality . Looks like ya'll are both correct. For years I had the old "Curse You PQ "sticker on my bedroom door at home. Somethings never change.

Richard, that is one of the decals I found! As soon as I find where Hank hid the cord for my camera I'm gonna post some pics.....

Yup, I remember chatting with Marv about "Pure Quill". At the time, I was one of those whippersnappers who had to have "pure quill" defined/explained. Of course it wasn't coincidence that PQ could be used to designate Pabatco Quality
