Is there an update on this adventure?. The history of Hodaka Athena and PABATCO is important to me, how can we help? I am the president of the Columbia Falls local Historical Society and my past bonds me to Hodaka and all of you my friends. ============Clarence

Clarence ,
Bob Whitman is our point man on the GEM project. There is some very exciting news but I will ask that Bob speak on behalf of the Hodaka Club. He may wait a week or so to publish a letter in the forthcoming Resonator newsletter though.
Thanks for the constant support Clarence!
Sincerely
Paul

As Paul alluded, we expect some really great news from Athena soon. The Gem folk have been waiting with bated breath for responses on some major grant applications, and are very hopeful. As soon as we receive official word from Rob McIntyre (The Music Man of Athena-Weston, and Chief Mover/Shaker of the Gem project) we'll share it with y'all!

I responded to this email last month from Gregg and made a donation.
Dear Richard,
Our friends at the Gem Theatre could use our help. They are finalists for a 250K grant from the Murdoch Foundation to help complete the work on the historic Gem Theater in Athena.
When complete, the complex will house an auditorium, public meeting area, and… a Hodaka Museum.
As the selection committee nears a decision, they will be looking at the public support the various projects have and one of their measurements is the level of activity on social media.
This is a very important grant and would go a long way toward completion of the Gem complex and our realization of a Hodaka Museum.
Please help them by visiting their web site
www.gemtheatre.org (note the old style spelling of the word “theatre”) and, if you are a “Facebooker”, follow the link to their Facebook page and like them. Or search for “Athena’s Gem” on Facebook. Tell your friends too!
Thank you for your help. And see you this June in Athena.
