Ken Smith

Post by admin »

Hello,
I would like to inform the Hodaka world that today is Ken Smith's birthday. Now "Kenny" as he is affectionately known around Australia is probably just returning home at 4:41 am Sydney time from a night of partying. But if you feel the need you might offer him birthday wishes he would greatly appreciate this I am absolutely positive. As a matter of fact the first 100 people who email him birthday wishes will receive free drinks at the next Classic Dirt event #11 this coming June from Ken. If you call him "uncle Kenny" he might even offer up a free subscription to VMX magazine (no not really but you can try). Ken's email address is [email protected] . He really does not look to bad for 63 years young..
Thank you
Paul

ps- Dear Ken payback for the article about Geoff Ballard's KDX needle :-)
Happy Birthday you old #$%^&*

Well hot dang! Happy Birfday uncle Kenny!! While I'm not shootin' for a free subscription to VMX thru the use of the words "uncle Kenny", I AM shootin' for free drinks at Classic Dirt! Yes.

Here's hoping your Birthday is a very happy one! (it should be easy for such a whipper-snapper to have a good time, right?) Have a Fat Yak for me. ;)

If the saying "You're as young as you feel." is true, I hope you feel younger than I do.

Happy Birthday! I want you to know that I stole an extra cold one out of the esky in your honor.

Thanks to all and yes, the drinks are on me if you make it to Classic Dirt 11 (but one drink gets deducted for each time I'm addressed as Uncle Kenny). Plus one drink though if you can recite the secret phrase - 'Paul's a tosser'.

he got the age wrong by the way, just turned 56, so slightly younger than Pauly.

So Kenny if I move to Oz this means I too get to turn the clock backwards? Maybe this June we will have to try this and see. Along with a Klancher toss off the Sydney Harbour bridge.I promised you while we were working on the book that I would not ever say that you are a month older than I am again :-) oooops did I say that???
We all hope that you had a great day and continue to have many many great days.
Your pal

Hi Ken,
I tried to send you a personal email at the address Paul gave (which is the same one we have in the membership database) and I keep getting a message that it is trying to deliver the message and it won't go through. Maybe your mailbox is full??

Probably Comcast on my end. I have stopped getting the error messages so maybe it went through. Not important enough to worry about as it was not much different than what I said here. Anyway, hope you had a good birthday.
