Question About Countershaft Gears

Hi all! Have a question. I am rebuilding a bottom end on a Model 94 motor. Have the transmission disassembled. The one thing I did not take notice of was the way the gears go back on the countershaft. One side of each gear is smooth & flat, while the other side has an elevated portion nearest the hole in the center. Which way do the gears go on the countershaft? Is it with all the raised sides to the right, to the left, when looking from the rear of the motor, or some other configuration? Just need to know this because I can't tell from photos in the shop manual or the on line exploded views. Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide! ; ) Victor

I always repeat to myself when assembling, keep your shoulders up. That would be toward the counter shaft sprocket or left when sitting on the bike.
